The Power of Touch

Finally, I have the elusive iPod Touch! I recently won the iPod on eBay for a mere $200, considerably less than its $400 price tag. After almost three years of listening to countless people ecstatic about the latest apps, I can finally get into the game. When I initially touched (Ha... it's a play on words...) the iPod, it just felt "right". I mean, touching my music, movies, email, and websites is a magnificent and extraordinary feeling.  That feeling of almighty power.

Anyway, after downloading a few notable apps, some of which I will detail in later posts, I was pleasantly enjoying the interactive, touchiness of the iPod.

Speaking of apps, I have decided to showcase one of my favorite apps every week as well as migrating the "Movie of the Day" to "Movie of the Week". So, that way, I can tell you guys about an awesome app and movie one a week. Be sure to subscribe to this blog to know about the latest movie and app of the week.

In order to get off the subject of my new high-tech gadget, I've been taking a summer course in college: Calculus. It's only two, 3-hour classes a week... not too bad. I've been keeping up with all the tests, quizzes, and homework, in order to ace the class.

I think that's all I need to talk about for this post. See yeah next time!

I can not believe I didn't write about Showtime's Dexter yet! I've been hooked on the show ever since my cousin told me about it last September. It's absolutely amazing! But don't take a lonely bloggers word for it... watch it for yourself on Showtime.

Anyway, I'm still on my second semester of college, working for Taco Bell, and living life, I suppose. I recently saw Alice in Wonderland. Though I hardly remember it due to the fact that I fell asleep for a good third of the film. Yeah, it was awful. But hey, I got to see the *awesome* trailer for TRON Legacy. That looks like a good film. I've got to watch the original TRON sometime.

That about wraps it up. Thanks for reading, and see yeah next time! :-)

Six Letters... One GREAT Experience!

Just like billions of others, I have seen the glorious, unbelievable, fantastic, greatest film of the decade... AVATAR! Seriously, it's a wonderful and imaginative film with awesome special effects and a satisfying ending. This film could easily be the best movie of the decade!

Speaking of a decade, it seems we have ended one already. 2000-2009 was a crazy time. I believe I was in third grade at the start of it all... now, I'm a freshman in college. Wow! I remember first reading Harry Potter and finishing it only a couple years ago. I remember the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center buildings back in 2001. I remember all the people I met, both good and bad. There are some stuff I wish I could forget... there are stuff that I wish I can remember better. But all in all, I'm glad that I survived this decade, so I can see it end.

Let's hope that the next decade is just as exciting, less heart-breaking, and more fun.
